What is Registered Carpentry Apprenticeship?

Registered Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience, receive progressive wage increases, classroom instruction, and a portable, nationally-recognized credential.

Our Vermont Carpentry Apprenticeship will help to address a critical workforce shortage by connecting employers with individuals interested in learning a trade.

Apprentices will receive 2,000 hours (1.5 years) of on-the-job training from an employer registered with the program and 310 hours of related instruction offered through ReSource.
